In late 2007, Hui O Hoaloha Hula was formed with a handful of ladies wanting to dance hula. Under the guidance of Kumu Hula Rich Pedrina, we do just that. As part of our curriculum, we learn the history of  the mele's that we dance.  One cannot just dance. One needs to have an understanding of what is being said through the mele and the hula.  Once you understand the mele, you can truly tell the story. 

 

Hula is not only for those born and raised in Hawaii. It is for  those Hawaiian at heart and those who believe in the true spirit of Aloha. We welcome you to come and share your Aloha Spirit.
